ABC’s Extreme Home Makeover

We are proud to have supplied the lawn and park area for the Medeiros and Correa families in Denver and to have been a part of the Denver Extreme Makeover team in November of 2004. The seven day home renovation including a park area was completed for Colorado Homeless Families, a non-profit Denver organization helping families get back on their feet. Just hours after the sod went down, a November storm coated the ground with snow and gave the lawn a promising first watering.

In 2007 we were once again asked to be a part of the Extreme Home Makeover Team when we supplied sod for the Woodhouse family in Colorado Springs. The Woodhouse family had been dealing with a severe neurological disorder that was threatening their daughter Kayla’s life. The Woodhouse family’s new house was featured an episode airing on January 13, 2008.

We have also had the opportunity to work with groups like GreenCare for Troops and Pikes Peak Habitat for Humanity whose track record of helping families help themselves is truly remarkable. For over 40 years our community has given our family so much opportunity that these projects are a small way to give something back to Colorado Springs and to people that have hit some tough breaks.
